MEMBERSHIP
The Commission is made up of a Chairman and twelve Members, two from each of the six geo-political zones of the country. The Membership of the second Commission is stated as follows:
ENGR. AHMED ALIYU DOGONDAJI (CON, FNSE, mni) is the 2nd Executive Chairman of the Commission. Alhaji Dogondaji hails from Sokoto State, North-West of Nigeria. A career Civil Servant who had worked in several positions and retired as a Permanent Secretary from the Federal Ministry of Water Resources & Rural Development, Abuja in 1999. He is a traditional title holder from the Sokoto Emirate Council (The MUTAWALLIN SOKOTO). A Fellow of the Nigeria Society of Engineers and a Member of the National Institute of Policy and Strategic Studies, Kuru. He is married with children and is also widely traveled.
HON. EJIGA OHEPO ADA hails from Benue State. He is a Business Mogul with vast experience in business management. He is currently the Director of OAK Ventures, Kaduna and Adam Ejiga & Co. A former Member of the Federal House of Representatives (1999-2003) during which he was the Deputy Chairman, House Committee on Peace & Reconciliation, House Committee on Budget and House Committee on Finance. He is presently a member and Commissioner of the National Assembly Service Commission, Abuja representing the North-Central geopolitical Zone of the country. Hon. Egija is married with children.
HON. HAJIA TALATU UMARU hails from Nasarawa State. She specializes in forestry development and management with training experience in leadership and human development, media equipment handling and video production. She has worked as a public servant and was a Commissioner in the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources in Nasarawa State from 2003 to 2005. She is a member of Commonwealth Forestry Association (CFA), member, Forestry Association of Nigeria (FAN) and member, National Council of Women Societies (NCWS). She is presently a member and Commissioner in the National Assembly Service Commission, Abuja representing the North-Central geopolitical Zone of Nigeria. She loves traveling, reading, watching home video and listening to good music. Hajia Talatu is married with children.
HON. (DR.) DENNIS C. NWACHUKWU hails from Enugu State. He attended Mayflower, Ikenne and Comprehensive High School Aiyetoro for his secondary education between 1970 and 1974. He graduated from University of Benin where he obtained his MB.BS. He is a Medical Doctor by profession with specialization in Family Health Practice. Dr. Nwachukwu is an Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at Loyola University Medical Centre and Medical Director at Loyola Family Practice Center all of Maywood. He was the Medical Director of School Based Health Center also of Maywood and has served in various hospital committees such as Utilization Review Committee, Continuous Medical Education Committee, Practice Management Committee, Ambulatory Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee and School Based Health Center Advisory Board to mentioned but only five. He did a fellowship in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, University of Texas Medical Centre, Houston, Texas, USA. He is presently a member and Commissioner of the Commission representing the South East geopolitical Zone of the country.He is married with children.
HON. (ENGR.) ALOY IFEANYI ONOCHIE hails from Anambra State. He attended Loyala College, Ibadan and CKC Onitsha for his secondary education. He attended University of Lagos for his B.Sc. and PGD. He is an Engineer of high repute. Engr. Onochie is a seasoned public servant who has served this nation in various capacities from 1978 to 2003. He was the Plant Manager of National Fertilizer Company of Nigeria (NAFCON), Port-Harcourt from 1999 to 2003. He retired into private consultancy in 2003. He is presently a member and Commissioner of the Commission representing the South East geopolitical Zone of the country and is married with children.
HON. ADEKOLA O. BOLARINWA is from Ekiti State. He attended Baptist College, Iwo (now Bowen University) from 1959 to 1965 for his O’ and A’ level certificates. He attended University of Ife from 1965 to 1968. He later obtained various certificates London and the USA. Hon. Bolarinwa is a teacher and team leader. He had also worked as Deputy Secretary, Secretary and, Chairman and Board Member in the Federal Ministry of Housing & Environment and other establishments. He was a member of the Federal Civil Service Rules Review Committee, Committee on Ajaokuta Steel Complex Resettlement of Affected Indigenes and leader of the team on the Monitoring and Assessment of Ajaokuta Rail Line and Onne Rail (Port-Harcourt). Hon. A. O. Bolarinwa is the author of the book “Budget, Implementation and Revenue Monitoring” a publication accepted by the Federal Executive Council for implementation in 2000. He worked in many ministries including the Federal Ministry of Works, Housing & Transport and retired as a Director in the Federal Ministry of Environment in 2003. He is married with children. He is presently a member and Commissioner of the Commission representing the South West geopolitical Zone of the country.
HON. (SURV.) OLANIYAN, ENOCH AYOYEMI hails from Ikire, Irewole Local Government of Osun State. A seasoned land surveyor and civil servant. He attended several courses in Surveying and Management both local and international. His work experience transversed the length and breadth of the country for 35 years and retired as the Deputy Surveyor General of the Federation in 1999. Surveyor Olaniyan is a member of the Commission representing the South-West Geopolitical Zone of the country. He is married with 5 children. He is presently a member and Commissioner of the Commission representing the South West geopolitical Zone of the country.
HON. COMRADE AMINU ABDULSALAM GWARZO is from Kano State. He is a Teacher, Financial Expert and Politician. He is representing the North-West geopolitical zone in the Commission. He is married with children.
HON. (DR.) IBRAHIM S. K. ADAMU hails from Katsina State. Born on thev23rd March 1953, attended Danja Primary School from 1963-1969, proceeded to Government Secondary School Daura from 1970-1974. Dr. Adamu was employed by Funtua Local Education Authority as a teacher from 1974-1975. He obtained a Diploma in Irrigation Agronomy in 1977, Higher Diploma in Irrigation Agronomy in 1980, DAC-ABU Post Graduate Diploma in Public Policy and Analysis (PGDPA) in 2003. HUK Polytechnic. His postgraduate working experience statrted with Sokoto Rima River Basin Development Authority (SRRBDA). He also served at different projects such as Bakolori Irrigation Project, Talata Mafara, Zauro Project (ZPP) Birnin Kebbi, Goroyo Dam Project, Kaura Namoda Emergency Rice/Maize Zone, Dutsinma Area Office, Kaduna Area Office and finally SRRBDA Headquarters, Sokoto. Dr. Adamu held different positions among which are Zonal Officer, Kaura Namoda, Training Officer, Headquarters, Assistant Area Manager, Planning and Design , Dutsinma, Assistant Project Manager, ZPP, and Loans Recovery Officer, Kaduna Area Office and Deputy Head, Agric/Irrigation, EEC/KSTG), Katsina State. Politically, Dr. Adamu was the Secretary, Danja Local Government 1983, Chairman, Danja Local Government under SDP Nov. 1991 – Dec. 1993, Chairman, Danja Local Government under UNCP 1997 – 1998, Secretary, UNCP, Katsina State, Vice Chairman, PDP Katsina State 1998-1999, Ag. State Chairaman, PDP Katsina State 1999-2000, Managing Director, Katsina State Agricultural & Rural Development Authority (KTARDA). He also attended several seminars, courses, workshops and trainings locally and internationally. He obtained many local, national and international merit awards, the recent being the Honorary Doctorate Degree in Public Administration from the All Saint University of America. He is a member/Chairman to many organizations and institutions such as the Lake Chad Research Institute, Maiduguri 2005 – date, Zuru College of Agriculture Governing Board 1990 to mention but a few. Dr. S. K. is now a Federal Commissioner, National Assembly Service Commission (NASC) representing the North-West geopolitical zone of this Country. He is married and blessed with many children.

He is presently a member of the Commission representing the Nort-East geopolitical zone of the country. He is married with children.
HON. MALAM IDI ADAMU NINGI hails from Bauchi State in North-East Nigeria. A seasoned Teacher and Educationist with a high profile career in inspectorate of Educational Services. Hon. Malam Ningi is presently a Commissioner representing North-East geopolitical zone of the Country. He is married with children.
HON. AMBROSE OJEZU IMOODE is from Edo State. He attended Azama College – Otuo and ICE – Benin City for his primary and secondary education from 1973 to 1979. He also attended Ambrose Ali University – Ekpoma from 2001 to 2004 and went to The Mississipi Consortium for International Development, USA for his Postgraduate and Master degrees studies in 2004. Hon. Imoode is a young politician who was actively involved in patrician politics in Edo State. He loves reading, sporting and traveling. He is presently a Commissioner representing South-South geopolitical zone of the Country and is married with children.
HON. E. JUSTUS NTUK hails from Akwa Ibom State. He is presently a Commissioner representing South-South geopolitical zone of the Country. A pioneer Personnel staff of Aluminium Smelter Company of Nigeria (ALSCON) Limited, Ikot Abasi, Akwa Ibom State. He also served on the Akwa Ibom State Civil Service Commission as a Commissioner between 2004 and 2007.Hon. Ntuk has a Master degree in Public Administration and Personnel Management (MPA). He is a member of the Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (IPMN) and a fellow of the Institute of Commerce of Nigeria (IOCN). He is married with children.
