HON. ETUK OLUSEGUN BASSEYwas born on 2 nd December, 1962 in Lagos hails from Etinan Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State. A multi-linguist (he speaks the English, Ibibio, Igbo and Yoruba languages fluently), Bassey Olusegun Etuk has vast experience in industrial management and political mobilization.
He is the Executive Director, Operations, Edmondos Limited (a construction company based in Lagos), Managing Director, Uptimum Technology Ltd; Lagos, Manager at Nimbus African Art Centre, Lagos, Manager at African Foods Ltd; Enugu, Independent Marketer, Unipetrol Nig. Plc (Industrial Sales Department), and Manager, Real Property Brokers Ltd; Lagos; among others. On the political front, he was the Chairman/Co-ordinator of the South-South Peoples United Forum, Surulere, Lagos; Chairman, IDITA Community Development Association, Surulere, Lagos; and Special Assistant on Constituency Projects to Hon. Desmond Olusola Elliot of the Lagos State House of Assembly- representing SurulereConstituencyI). Hon. Bassey Olusegun Etuk represents the South-South zone in the Commission.
